
Edoardo Liberati completes positive race return at Nürburgring as the KCMG team enters the brand-new Porsches
Edoardo Liberati finally made is race return at the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie round 2 and 3, driving one of the Porsche 911 GT3 R cars fielded by KCMG team.
The Italian racer, sharing the duties with Swiss Alexandre Imperatori and Australian Josh Burdon, started the development programme of the brand-new machinery.
Eventually he and his team-mates claimed the 18th and 17th position respectively on Saturday's Race 1 and in the second race hosted on Sunday, contesting a strong 120-car grid.
“We entered both races to make a test, looking forward the 24 Hours Nürburgring scheduled for late September", Liberati commented. "We focused on the development programme of the new cars, trying a lot of things during the pit-stops”.
Definitively it was a positive weekend for Liberati and KCMG before continuing a full-commitment season.
