Nürburgring kicks-off 2021 season for Edoardo Liberati
After having extended for a fourth consecutive year his commitment with team KCMG, Edoardo Liberati is set for the first round of NSL Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie scheduled next weekend.
The Italian racing driver who will compete in the first three rounds of the series, looking forward his participation for the Hong Kong's outfit in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and the Qualifying Race, will share the #18 Porsche 911 GT3 R with Australian Josh Burdon, German Marco Holzer and Swiss Alexandre Imperatori.
Liberati and his team-mates complete a strong line-up aiming at the top spot in a high-level contest, with 146 cars starting the 4-hour race that represents a very important test for all.
After taking part in the last two editions of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring that is held on the same Nordschleife track - the first one in 2019 in a Nissan and the last season driving a Porsche - in 2020 Liberati entered four races of the German series claiming a best sixth overall.
"The team has been working hard during the winter to get ready for the beginning of the NLS season", Liberati said. "The first target for us is to continue the development of the car and to collect data on the Nordschleife, but of course we also aim to pick up a strong result straight away."
The next weekend's event is entirely scheduled for Saturday. Action will fire up with a morning 90-minute qualifying that will be followed by the start race at noon. Livetiming and streaming will be available at https://www.nuerburgring-langstrecken-serie.de/de/live/.
