Edoardo Liberati set for opening race of Italian GT Endurance at Pergusa
Two weeks since his last race at Laguna Seca, where he claimed a podium finish in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America opener, Edoardo Liberati gets back to action at Enna/Pergusa this coming weekend, 14th/15th May, when the opening round of the Italian GT Endurance takes place.
The Roman will drive a VSR Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo car alongside Michele Beretta and Yuki Nemoto, targeting another good result.
"This is my first time at Pergusa and it is the first time for my teammates too - Liberati explained - I am very thrilled to return to the Italian GT after many years and proud to race for VSR with a Lamborghini."
Liberati entered the Italian GT Championship in 2012 and made some occasional appearances in 2016.
The first free practices at Pergusa will get underway tomorrow afternoon. Two more one-hour sessions are scheduled on Saturday at 9:00 and 12:00 followed by qualifying at 15:50. The race will be held on Sunday from 13:00 to 15:00 with the live coverage on YouTube and Facebook official channels.
