Edoardo Liberati claims P6 at Nürburgring in NLS Round 4
Edoardo Liberati claimed a brilliant sixth position last weekend, in the round #4 of the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie hosted by the Nordschleife circuit. A result that shows the great job done by KCMG on the brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R car that the Italian racing driver brought to its debut last July taking a P18 and P17.
The Rome-based racer and his-team mates, Australian Josh Burdon and Norwegian Dennis Olsen, showed a better pace than the previous event. Starting from the second quick time set by Olsen in the qualifying.
The race hold on dry track saw the Hong Kong's squad steadely in the top positions. Only the spin of one of the Liberati's team-mates that costed them 50 seconds prevented the crew to finish in the first five positions over a strong 133-car grid.
Liberati, who drove in the last stint, battled with the Audis but paid a slightly negative BoP.
“Both the KCMG Porsches went well. The team made a great job. The P6 is perfect for us, looking forward the next race scheduled late this month", Liberati commented.
The next race will be the fifth of the season, waiting for the main event of 24 Hours of Nürburgring on Septemeber.
