Edoardo Liberati secures front row start for Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe opener

Edoardo Liberati secured the first row for Race 1 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo opener at Misano. The Italian racing driver, who makes his European series return after one year of absence, set the second quickest time over 23 cars in the first qualifying of the season.

Pairing with Finnish racer Olli Kangas in a VS Racing's Huracán Super Trofeo Evo, Liberati claimed the third spot yesterday in free practice 1 to improve further today.

The Rome-based driver will complete the opening driving stint in the Race 1, which is scheduled to start tonight at 20:45, live streamed at www.youtube.com/user/TheSuperTrofeo.

The last Lamborghini Super Trofeo race he entered was in 2019 at Sepang, in the Asian series, where he was the polesitter to take a brilliant victory.
