Edoardo Liberati takes the second row for Bathurst 12 Hours race

KCMG-run Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 car shared by Edoardo Liberati, Swiss Alexandre Imperatori and Brazil’s João Paulo de Oliveira will start from the second row at the Bathurst 12 Hours.

At his second appearance in the Mount Panorama race, first round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge Championship, the Rome-based driver now aims at a podium finish.

The first part of the weekend went well. We showed to have a great pace, also with fresh tires, commented Liberati, “Starting from the second row is quite important. We’ll try to avoid mistakes bringing our car to the end of the race, as the last two hours are usually crucial. It will be a very tough race, expecially for the hot temperatures with more than 40 degree, a tenth less early in the morning”.

With four different brands in the first four positions of the starting grid - Porsche, McLaren, Mercedes and Nissan - the 2020 edition of Bathurst 12 Hours will commence tomorrow at 5.45 local time and will be live televised at https://www.intercontinentalgtchallenge.com/watch-live.
