Edoardo Liberati unveils a full time commitment in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America
After announcing his participation in the Italian GT Endurance with a Vincenzo Sospiri Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo, Edoardo Liberati has unveiled his new challenge in the Usa.
The Rome-based racing driver will enter all the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America rounds for Dream Racing Motorsport, one of the top teams in the one-make series.
Liberati will run a brand-new Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 car in the BitBull livery as solo driver, aiming at the Pro class title, racing also the World Finals at Portimão early next November.
Liberati has already made one appearance with Dream Racing Motorsport last year in Misano, starting from the front row of the grid in race one. Eventually his teammate had to retire due to a contact after the pit-stop.
In the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Liberati has clinched the Pro-Am title in the Asian series in 2015. The same year he made his debut in the European championship.
"I'm really motivated to do well. The North America's series grew up a lot in the last years", Liberati said. "I want to thank Enrico Bertaggia, Adriano De Micheli and all the Dream Racing Motorsport for this great oppotunity".
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America will start in about one week in Laguna Seca, Calif. The Ozarks International Raceway, in Missouri, will host the second round on 20/21 May. The series then will head to Watkins Glen, New York, on 25/26 June, and to Wisconsin, at Road America, on 6/7 August. At the end of the same month the VIR track will host the penultimate round, ahead of Portimão (Portugal) on 3/4 November, alongside the World Finals.
